About Snow Plow Finder
I was thinking we could use a free snow plow directory. Can you imagine I came up with this idea shoveling snow? So far, this includes a community controlled free online snow plow business directory. This directory includes a map for each business using Google maps based on the address the submitter has entered. Customers can locate a snow removal service near their residence or commercial business and choose the best snow plow operator based on user submitted reviews.
Snow Plow Finder Features
This is a Joomla based site with a customized business directory. The template is a modified Siteground template downloaded from the Joomla24 template gallery.
The free online directory allows user to add and review snow removal business listings. Snow plow companies can register to manage their listing and increase their visibility on the web.

This website if for a church youth group in Michigan.
The site is built with Joomla and the template is based on JA Purity, with a few small customizations.
Features include:
- A Google calendar to manage and display events.
- A few different categories that allow for a Pastor Blog, a Parent Blog and a Leader Blog.
- A download section for permission slips and other forms.
- A podcast page that includes an RSS feed for subscriptions (such as iTunes).
- A photo gallery that displays random photos on the front page and provides a method to easily include photos in the articles.
- A rotating image on the front page that links to the corresponding area.

Features of the IC3 Website
The main Christian Cycling Club website is based on Joomla. The initial design was static HTML. I migrated everything to Mambo several years ago. When Mambo and Joomla parted ways I chose the Joomla path.
Some interesting features:
- Online registration – members can pay annual membership dues online using paypal or a credit card
- Member-specific access areas – access is controlled to several areas just for paid members
- Member only eCommerce solution – allows coordination of group buys through club sponsors
- Forum
- Photo Gallery
- Member profiles act as a member directory (access controlled)
- Locate nearby members through google map integration
- Calendar to share events across the different spokes (or chapters)
- Daily Bible Verse from bible gateway
Other interesting items:
- Email is managed using google aps and there is a unique area that leverages google aps capabilities to help the Spoke Directors and Executive Board collaborate

The International Christian Cycling Club supports hundreds of cyclists across the world. Professional bicycle racers in several countries ride thier bikes wearing the Christian Cycling Jersey. Many of the clubs in the United States sponsor clubs in countries through Europe, Africa and Asia.

The Romania Chrisitan Cycling Club has many levels of bicyle racers – including junior team, several professional cyclists. The Romania Spoke supports the local community by providing youth cyclists with helmets and a safe environment to ride.
