Hey there,

I got the NextGen Album displaying on WordPress 2.9.

Just create a page called ‘Photos’ or ‘Gallery’.

Then insert [album=1,compact] or [album=1,extend] into the page.

Change the album number as required.

Next, goto the Gallery > Album page from the left-hand menu in WordPress Admin and make sure all your galleries are added to your album.

Now you will get a page displayed like this http://snowboardinjapan.com/?page_id=151 Now just make sure each gallery has at least one album in it so it displays a thumbnail pic for the gallery preview.

I’m also having the same issue with no nextGen gallery icon showing on the editor toolbar.
Inserting [nggallery id=114] in the post returns a black page with [View with PicLens] visible.

however, my gallery is visible in a page.

i’m having a problem with album. I’ve applied album id short code on Photoalbum page. The page displays all the thumbnails of galleries included and the inner thumbnails but when clicked the pop p window never comes and it shifts back to the photo album page.
So i have disabled the imagebrowser from the admin panel. But can you please help me why imagebrowser is not starting when an image is clicked from gallery included in album?

That is the same thing that happened to me and I found that the plugin did not reactivate during the shutdown and reactivation of all plugins in the upgrade process.

Does anyone know how to automatically create individual posts for each picture in a gallery?

Raymond, did you get this fixed? My first guess is to make sure it is activated. If it is, deactivate and reactive the gallery.

I recently updated WordPress to the latest version. 2.7.1 I believe. I updated NextGen Gallery as well. After doing this none of my pages that displayed galleries are working. When I click on the webpage it just show [gallery=7] . I also noticed the NextGen Gallery icon is not showing up in the editor toolbar?

Can anyone help me with this????
