Most information or internet marketers understand that list building can take time. Most also know that list building is one of the most important parts of a successful online business. Viral List building is one way to build a list fast.

Viral List building is simply a way to accelerate your list building. It uses existing email list subscribers to get more subscribers. You leverage the power of others and they leverage the power from you. You could think of it as group list building. As visitors are sent to a community list page, they are shown several related lists to subscribe to. As they step through the pages, you and some of your fellow list builders are highlighted. Advanced Twitter Tools – TweetMiner

January 9th, 2010 by holywebmaker 2 comments »

NOTE: TweetMiner has changed to Pluggio – It is really the same product with some improvements.

I just found TweetMiner today. It is quite a handy twitter tool. Why is it so handy? It does what many of us do manually on a daily basis. Combines the power of our RSS feed reader and twitter. TweetMiner makes it super easy to browse your RSS Feed and share the good stuff with your twitter friends.

The interface is quick and clean. It also allows you to schedule some tweets for the future. I know, many don’t get the idea behind scheduling tweets yet. Especially since so many spammers are using it improperly. But if you use it right, scheduling tweets is very powerful.

Watch the video for a quick demonstration of the power of TweetMiner.

TweetMiner can help you with content discovery by searching and watching keyword streams and integrating RSS feeds into your twitter interface. TweetMiner can help you schedule tweets on a regular basis or at a point in time. Do you have 10 friends that have birthdays coming up? Schedule a tweet today so you don’t forget to tweet them Happy Birthday in the future.

TweetMiner has many other features. Just check out the home page and watch a few of the excellent demonstration videos. In a matter of seconds, you can sign up. In a matter of minutes you will feel at ease in the simple interface.

How to Schedule Tweets

January 8th, 2010 by holywebmaker No comments »

Why should you schedule tweets? Doesn’t that take away form the interaction? Does it defeat the purpose of twitter? Some might argue, but personally, I think there are many good reasons to schedule a tweet. The catch is that you need to use twitter in real time too. Use scheduled tweets sparingly, but they can save you a lot of time.

Here are some examples of effective tweet scheduling:

Twitter Applications to Manage your Tweetstream

January 7th, 2010 by holywebmaker No comments »

One problem with the Twitter web application is that you can’t keep an eye on your replies and Direct Messages and main Tweetstream on the screen. If you want to throw in some of your favorite keyword searches, you will only add fuel to the fire. Oh, and what happened a couple hours ago? You only see the last 20 tweets or get to click through multiple pages to catch up. Then there is the problem with twitter being over capacity. Make your life easier with an application to manage your Tweetstream. » Read more: Twitter Applications to Manage your Tweetstream

The Biggest Decision with Twitter

It is time to make a big decision that may change the way you use Twitter. The decision is based on quality versus quantity. Do you want a large list of followers? This is helpful for marketing and list building. Do you want a group of highly focused followers that you communicate with regularly? Either way, you probably want to find some people to follow. » Read more: Following and Finding Followers in Twitter

Twitter Backgrounds

January 5th, 2010 by holywebmaker No comments »

It is important to change your background so it is not the default Twitter page. If you leave it as one of the standard twitter choices you are missing opportunity to set yourself apart from others. Remember that many users still manually look at each person to determine if they will follow back or not. Distinguish yourself from the crowd, attract more followers, and appear professional.

Your background can be packed with a lot of additional information to tell more about you. You can add information that promotes much more than you can add to your bio. » Read more: Twitter Backgrounds
